Medical Care, Plus Habits That Last

ShapeUp combines personalized medical care, evidence-based treatment, and practical lifestyle strategies. The goal is not simply to help you lose weight, but to help you build sustainable habits that support your long-term health.

What guides our care

Seven Principles Behind Every Plan

  1. 01

    Individualized Care

Your plan is based on your health history, goals, and daily life, not a one-size-fits-all program.

  2. 02

    Medical Oversight

A board-certified family nurse practitioner guides every treatment decision and follows your progress.

  3. 03

    Appropriate Medication Use

GLP-1 medication is prescribed only when medically appropriate, and doses are adjusted based on how you respond.

  4. 04

    Laboratory Monitoring

Baseline labs before treatment and repeat testing approximately every 6 months as clinically indicated.

  5. 05

    Lifestyle Changes

Nutrition, movement, and daily routines matter. Your plan makes room for practical changes that fit your life.

  6. 06

    Ongoing Support

Regular follow-up visits so your plan can change as your needs change.

  7. 07

    Sustainable Habits

The focus is on habits you can keep, and on your overall health, not just a number on the scale.

“Successful weight loss is about more than a number on the scale. It's about building sustainable habits and improving your overall health and well-being.”

Medication is one tool

Part of a Plan, Not the Whole Plan

GLP-1 medication can be a helpful part of treatment for some patients, but it is not right for everyone and it is not a stand-alone solution. Weight regain is possible after medication is stopped, which is why nutrition, activity, and daily habits are part of every conversation.
